Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that he hopes that the sanctions placed against his country will be removed this coming January, after the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) closed its investigation on whether Iran used to have a secret plan to develop a nuclear bomb.
The investigation was closed as part of a move to normalize ties between the international community and Iran following the signing of the nuclear deal.
