Following an incident during a soccer match between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem yesterday (Saturday), MK Yoel Razvozov (Yesh Atid) has asked Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) to create a police unit that will prevent violence and hooliganism in sport.
"We must commend the police actions that stopped several suspects who had planned to ruin the soccer match yesterday," wrote MK Razvozov. "However, it's clear to everyone that a police unit which is dedicated to this, that gets intelligence from social networks and from the field, could have brought about better results, and possibly even prevented the serious attack from happening."
