The Knesset plenum approved earlier on Tuesday second and third reading of two proposals regarding Knesset members’ salaries and operational budgets.
The first approved proposal will combine the operational budgets of all MKs (Parliamentary activity, office, mail and phone budgets). The second approved proposal will have a Knesset committee respond on MK salary questions within a fixed period of time. If the deadline passes without response, the request will be automatically approved.
