About 50 new olim from France are taking part in tonight's (Tuesday) Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony with Jewish Agency head Natan Sharansky.
The celebration, which is being run by the Jewish Agency and the Ministry for Immigration Absorption, will take place immediately after their flight from Paris lands.
Since the beginning of 2015, about 7,000 people have made aliyah from France, an increase of about 10 percent over last year.
