German Justice Minister Heiko Maas has announced that his country's justice system will act to prevent Mein Kampf from being republished for the purpose of incitement.

On January 1 the copyright for Hitler's autobiography, which currently belongs to the Bavarian government, will expire. After that, anti-Semitic groups say they intend to publish an annotated version of the book. The German states' justice ministers have agreed to work against additional printings.
