President Reuven Rivlin took off for a visit to the US last night (Sunday).
As part of the trip, President Rivlin will meet with US President Barack Obama in the White House on Wednesday. The two leaders are expected to discuss the issue of world terror and the challenges facing the Middle East.
Rivlin is also expected to meet with the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate. In addition, he will give a speech to the Brookings Institute.
