Hamas leader Khaled Mashal has called on Palestinians to unit together in what he called the ongoing intifada.
"We find ourselves in historic moments and we must support the intifada," he told al-Jazeera in an interview, adding: "The intifada unites the people and it will continue for as long as the occupation continues."
