MK Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin responded to the Chief Rabbinate’s announcement that women of financial means will pay child support to their former husbands.
“It seems that when there’s a will, halakha (Jewish law) can be modified to fit the modern era, but only when it is convenient for the men,” the MK said.
