The Foreign Ministry, headed by director-general Dore Gold, has approved the appointments of several new ambassadors and consuls.
They include: Yaakov Keidar - envoy to Bern, Switzerland; Alona Fisher Kam - envoy to Belgrade, Serbia ; Dov Segev Steinberg - envoy to Helsinki, Finland; Eldad Heicht - envoy to Santiago, Chile; Yitzhak Garberg - envoy to Wellington, New Zealand; Edbin Yabo - envoy to Quito, Ecuador; Galit Bram Amdor - consul general in Toronto; Aviv Ezra - consul general in Chicago; and Nadav Cohen - consul general in Guangzhou.
