Doctors Without Borders (MSF) says that it rejects the US's dismissal of the September attack on a hospital in Kunduz as "human error." The organization insists that an outside and impartial investigation be conducted into the incident.

Earlier today (Wednesday) the US military stated that the AC-130 gunship crew confused the MSF clinic with a nearby Taliban building and that those responsible have been suspended.

The attack left 30 civilians dead.
