French security forces uncovered a suspected explosive belt on Monday in Montrouge, a commune in the southern Parisian suburb. According to police sources, the device is missing its detonator.
“It looks like a belt of explosives,” a source close to the investigation told Reuters, adding that checks are currently underway to determine if the device is connected to the recent Paris terror attacks.
