The head of the Islamic Movement, Sheikh Ra'ad Salah, has rejected the Cabinet's decision to ban the northern branch of the Islamic Movement.

"The Islamic Movement will continue on its path until it succeeds, particularly in the issue of al-Quds [Jerusalem] and the al-Aqsa Mosque," said Salah.

The Arab Higher Monitoring Committee has also announced that it will hold and emergency meeting this morning (Tuesday) in order to discuss how to fight the decision.
