Minister Ze’ev Elkin said on Thursday morning that the peace experienced under the Oslo Accords was a peace created by ignoring the existing situation, and so it failed.

“The basic concept behind the Israeli dialogue in recent years is a concept of separation. So that we don’t bother and won’t hear. This notion is the foundation of the Oslo Accords… I am doubtful whether it led to peace. When you try and bury your head in the sand it comes back to bite you.”
