US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Wednesday night that the US will continue to stand by Israel at the UN.
“We are here today to promise that we will do everything we can in order to thwart any attempt to steal the UN platform for wrongful purposes. There is no stronger alliance than the one Israel shares with the US. Times have changed, but one thing remains the same: America’s support of Israel’s vision and security. We will thus continue to stand alongside Israel at every UN forum and will continue to oppose any attempt to de-legitimize Israel,” Kerry said.
