MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) says that the EU decision to label Israeli goods is "very problematic to the State of Israel, as this harms a third of its exports and does not distinguish between isolated settlements and blocs."

According to the former Justice Minister, "Although we are talking about a decision by the Union, every state can decide if it wants to adopt the decision. Israel can go into this seam, go from country to country and convince them not to adopt it. But in order for this to happen we need the correct police. It must be said that the Prime Minister's policies of two states is the true policy. We must prove it, so that they understand that there is no reason to put us in this corner."
