Educational institutes in northern Israel that went on strike yesterday (Monday) have announced that they will return to regular operation today.
The strike was in protest against proposed changes to tax benefits in the periphery, which the government announced it will freeze. Leaders of the protest say that Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) promised to introduce a different tax plan that would not harm the schools' existing benefits.
