King Abdullah of Jordan met with local public figures yesterday (Sunday) and spoke about Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's pledge to maintain the status quo on the Temple Mount.
"We have heard the statements, we will check them and the steps that will be taken in the field," said King Abdullah. He added that Jordan is following Israel's stances on geographically dividing the al-Aqsa Mosque, clarifying that "this issue is a red line."
