MK Tzipi Livni slammed Prime Minister Netanyahu’s initiative to set up defense courts.
“The idea of defense courts means that responsibility for a lack of security would be placed on the legal system, thereby weakening it. Israel will not be a state in which there are different laws for different people in different places, but rather a state whose legal system is headed by the Supreme Court, which maintains the country’s legal values.”
