Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed on Wednesday to do "whatever it takes" to prevent the Kurdish rebels in Syria from declaring autonomy in the town of Tel Abyad, near the border with Turkey.
Erdogan stressed that this includes military operations.
