German police arrested an Iranian man for allegedly spying on behalf of the Islamic Republic.
Prosecutors claim that 31-year-old Maysam P. was spying on the People's Mujahedin of Iran (MEK), an opposition group that has members in Germany. They believe that the suspect obtained information on MEK members and sold that information to Iranian intelligence agents.
Police say that the investigation is not yet completed, and that at least five other suspects have already been named.
