During a Knesset discussion about recent attacks against the Supreme Court, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) said, "Neither the government nor the MKs are immune to criticism. We must protect the limits of reasonable discussions. We particularly need to carefully weigh our words, to make sure there will be a constructive, fruitful, and respectful conversation."

She continued, "I suspect that after the constitutional revolution the justice system took more power than it was assigned by law. The way to change this is respectful conversation through the Knesset."
