Former US House Speaker Dennis Hastert has plead guilty to paying $3.5 million in "hush money" and lying to the FBI, Associated Press reports.
The millions of dollars went to a person known as "Individual A," though anonymous sources say that it was to quiet stories of sexual misconduct.
The former speaker will be sentenced on February 29.
