In light of publications of attempts to link the change in the “Equal Service” bill, the proposed law aimed at drafting haredi (ultra-Orthodox) men into the IDF.
The MKs claimed that “Attempts to connect the State budget to the amendment of principles within the Equal Service law in a manner that will rid the law of its contents is nothing more than political extortion at its worst.”
