A prisoner and two Ashkelon residents have been arrested on suspicion of trying to smuggle various drugs into Be'er Sheva's Dekel prison.
During the undercover investigation authorities collected evidence against several detainees who are also being charged with conspiracy to traffic drugs and bribing a public figure.
This morning (Tuesday) a drug deal was carried out in which the Ashkelon resident gave 3,000 shekels ($775 US) worth of drugs to an undercover agent.
