The Knesset budget has received its approval from MK David Bitan's (Likud) joint committee. The budget totals 651 million shekels ($168 million US) for 2015 and 717 million shekels ($185 million US) for next year.

The 2016 budget includes an extra 20 million shekels ($5.16 million US) to cover a third parliamentary advisor for each MK, following the recommendation from a public committee on the matter.
