UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, has appointed two Nazi hunters as ambassadors to prevent genocide.

Eighty-year-old Serge Klarsfeld, a French lawyer and Holocaust survivor, and his 76-year-old German wife Beate relentlessly documented all of the 76,000 French Jews who were deported during World War II, and pursued the Nazis who were responsible.

They will now work to stop genocides, largely in the Middle East and Africa.
