Interior Minister Silvan Shalom (Likud) appealed on Monday to the Haifa municipality to postpone a city council hearing on resuming funding to the Al-Midan Theater.
Funding for the theater was cut last spring after it was discovered the theater was staging a play about the life of the terrorist who murdered IDF soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984.
