Egypt's Interior Ministry has claimed that security forces killed three militants today (Sunday). The incident occurred in the Ismailia Province, in near the Suez Canal.
According to official reports, the militants were hiding in a field and opened fire when security forces approached. The ensuing firefight left three militants dead, and two officers and a soldier wounded.
