The Jerusalem light rail’s workers union will disrupt regular train activity as of Sunday.

Citypass, the company that runs the light rail, protested against the workers’ decision and said that “It cannot be that the Histadrut and drivers’ union will cause disruptions and take the Jerusalem public hostage for their own personal gain. This, especially when the citizens of Jerusalem are going through a tense period and the city’s authorities are working around the clock in an attempt to maintain daily life and security.”
