The police removed checkpoints from two eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods.
The checkpoints were set up last week following a Cabinet decision to close off the entries and exits from the eighborhoods. The police claim that the checkpoints were removed after the situation was assessed and it was determined that tensions had calmed.
