The head of the Police Department’s Investigations and Intelligence Department, Brigadier-General Meni Yitzhaki, responded to the end of the investigations surrounding the large-scale corruption case involving many public figures.
“The case exposed deep and severe moral failures, conscious and distorted criminal conduct, while taking advantage of status and proximity to the public purse, by people with high-ranking positions within the public sector. This is an important and significant case for the legal system.”
