Samaria Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan responded to Tuesday night’s attempted infiltration into the Samarian community of Yitzhar. Dagan said that such an act is considered to be a new level of terror, as infiltrations into Samarian communities have not occurred in a long time.
Dagan said that he would not be surprised if the terrorist gathered intelligence through the olive harvest. According to Dagan, he recently received news of Palestinian Arabs arriving at the olive harvest in Samaria to scout the security detail surrounding the communities in order to plan future attacks.
