South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been released from prison, after serving less than a year of his sentence. He is expected to serve the remainder of the five-year sentence under house arrest in Pretoria.
Pistorius rose to fame for competing as an Olympic sprinter despite having no legs. In 2013 he was convicted of manslaughter for shooting and killing his girlfriend.
