Minister for Religious Services David Azoulai (Shas) has responded to last night's (Thursday) arson attack against Joseph's Tomb.
"it hurts to see another arson at the grave of the tzaddik Yosef," said Azoulai. "I call on the spiritual leaders of the Arab sector to strongly denounce the arson and the serious attack on a site holy to the Jewish people. This is a serious violation of the status quo at the tomb. I call on the IDF and the General Security Service [GSS, also known as the Shabak or Shin Bet] to arrest the rioters and to punish them to the full extent of the law."
