A courts in Lod and Be'er Sheva are permitting authorities to transfer Jewish administrative detainees to solitary confinement in Ashel Prison.
The Israel Prison Service has already illegally moved two of the prisoners, according to the legal defense organization Honenu. Only afterwards did the Minister for Defense approve of the transfers. The courts disagreed with Honenu's interpretations and said that the moves were legitimate.
