MK Hanin Zoabi responded to statements made about her by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and said that “I harshly condemn the harmful and wildly inciting statements made by Binyamin Netanyahu against the Arab leadership, especially against myself and my colleague Ghattas and against the Islamic movement.”
“Netanyahu is distorting my words. I never called for the use of violence. I called and still called for an uncompromising nationalistic battle against the ‘occupation,’ because any nation under occupation has the right and even obligation to fight against the occupation. Saying that I am supporting the terror attacks and calling for increased attacks is cheap distorting, that points to weakness and a loss of cool on the part of the government,” Zoabi added.
