Due to the serious security situation, Women of the Wall's head Anat Hoffman has told Chief Rabbi of the Kotel Shmuel Rabinovitch that her followers will not try to sneak in a Torah scroll when they pray this Wednesday.
Hoffman noted that Women of the Wall will temporarily cease their monthly attempts to read aloud from a Torah in the spirit of responsibility and mutual accountability, and in order to not harass the security guards who are working to keep all worshippers safe.
