Authorities have announced that three Arabs have been arrested on suspicion of planning to make pipe bombs in order to attack security forces during the recent Jewish holidays.
The three suspects include two men living in Jerusalem Old City and a 14-year-old youth from Jabel Mukaber. The two older men purchased the supplies so that the minor could put the bombs together. The youth has already made 13 similar pipe bombs.
Police, detectives, and explosives experts searched the youth's home on September 12, and found 10 bombs. The following day, Erev Rosh Hashannah, the youth was arrested and taken for questioning.
