Israel has announced that it will ease the restrictions on Muslim men allowed to enter the Temple Mount today (Friday), permitting those aged 45 and older. The previous guidelines only allowed men 50 and older. Women of all ages can enter the site.
There is no report on whether the government is also easing the restrictions on Jews.
Police and Border Guards are spread throughout the Old City out of concern for confrontations.
