Education Minister Naftali Bennett declared at the start of the Jewish Home faction meeting in Jerusalem’s Old City that there should be a police of zero tolerance for terrorism.
According to Bennett, “We are at the start of a change in direction. We are here on Hagay Street in the Old City, and the principle that guides us is that the Hagay Street in the Old City is the same as Ibn Gvirol Street in Tel-Aviv. The implementation of the law and sovereignty must be the same here as it is in Tel-Aviv. No spitting, no screaming, no harassment, no rock throwing and no firebombing: a policy of zero tolerance.”
