Cyprian President Nicos Anastasiades told the United Nations General Assembly yesterday (Thursday) that the world should try to negotiate a peace agreement for his island, which has been torn between Greek and Turkish interests.
"A window of opportunity opened that revived our hope that the new round of negotiations," he said.
