A Jerusalem court denied the Police Department’s request to distance rightwing attorney Itamar Ben Gvir from Temple Mount for a period of 15 days, instead ordering that the police release Ben Gvir with no limitations and without bail.
The police detained the attorney on Wednesday, alleging that calling out “Am Yisrael Chai” on Temple Mount would likely annoy the Muslims.
