US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday that the US and Russia reached “Some fundamental principles” with respect to dealing with the crisis in Syria.
Kerry added that he intends on meeting on Wednesday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in order to discuss the matter. According to Kerry, there is an agreement that Syria must be united and that the “Islamic State” (ISIS) terrorist organization must be overcome.
