Thailand's former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has filed a lawsuit against her opponents. Yingluck left the position last year after she was impeached and tried for a failed rice subsidy plan.
She now is trying to counter-sue the attorney general over how he handled her case. According to Yingluck, he was negligent in his duty and went beyond the bounds of his position in order to harm her.
Should her suit succeed, the prosecution team that worked against her could face prison terms of up to 10 years.
