White House spokesman Josh Earnest announced Monday that the United States will transfer $419 million in humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees.
Earnest said the US is committed to contributing a total of $4.5 billion to improve living conditions in refugee camps in Syria and elsewhere in the region.
