The 86-year-old woman critically injured in a car accident on Yaakov Dori Street in Haifa on Monday succumbed to her wounds a short time ago at Rambam Hospital in the city.
The driver, a 44-year-old resident of Haifa, apparently hit the woman as she was crossing the street to return to the nursing home she resided in.
