The governor of Moldova's central bank has resigned after weeks of protests over $1.5 billion that disappeared from three of the country's banks.
Dorin Dragutanu, governor of the National Bank of Moldova, stepped down on Monday, not before accusing politicians of discrediting the bank and interfering in its internal affairs.
