Opposition head Isaac Herzog (Jewish Union) has sharply criticized the recent incident in which a mother and baby were attacked while in their car in Jerusalem.

"It has been many years since cars were attacked every day on their way to the capital of Israel and in the streets of Jerusalem, as happened an hour ago," he noted. "During the election campaign Bibi threatened that we will allow ISIS into Jerusalem and that because of us Israeli citizens will have to take armored vehicles to reach the Kotel. The absurdity is that under his watch this is exactly what is happening. Mothers and children are attacked and threatened as they leave home. This is the result of weak leadership that does not know how to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens."
