A German court is waiting to for the results from a former Auschwitz guard's medical exam to decide whether or not he will stand trial. The guard, who is now 93 years old, is charged with 170,000 counts of accessory to murder.

A court spokesperson says that the assessment could take several weeks.

The defendant, who is identified only as Reinhold H., allegedly served as a guard at the concentration camp from 1942 until 1944.
