Police in the Philippines say that one woman was killed by a homemade bomb that was set off in a bus. Another 16 or more people are wounded.
Chief Inspector Joel Tuttuh explained that the bomb was located under a seat around the middle of the bus, and went off as passengers were boarding. There is no suspect yet, though the area has seen a number of attacks by Abu Sayyaf terrorists.
The attack occurred in Zamboanga, the third-largest city in the Philippines.
